Re: FreeBASIC controlled robot

Well, it all started when I bought an Elegoo robot car kit for Christmas. I didn't realize how easy it is to program these things, so we've been playing with it a lot. Also, I bought a kit from a guy at work for 10 bucks. He said he didn't really understand it, so he wanted to get rid of it, just to...

Re: FreeBASIC controlled robot

Hey, guys. I just wanted to mention that I've been doing this as well. I'm using Arduino UNO, and I haven't done *anything* using FreeBASIC yet, but I'm gonna read up on what all of you have been doing and see what ideas pop in my head. It's already super fun. :)

Re: Currently inactive

Heya... I'm replying to your very first post. I really didn't read many of the others. Anyway, I would like to offer my sincere thanks and admiration. I hope whatever you're going to do next is exactly what you hope for. This compiler and the attached community taught me almost everything I know abo...

I really want to try this, but I don't have time to set everything up right now. Is there any way you can zip it up or something please?

Re: triangle to triangle cast shadow

Kind of and it'd work but it's not really ideal for a function/sub on a triangle by triangle basis, although I don't know what would be. I can't remember what it was but I seem to remember there's a fairly simple solution to the camera entering the shadow volumes. The most common thing these days s...

Re: triangle to triangle cast shadow

Not exactly what you asked for with regards to individual triangles but try looking up stencil shadows for opengl, the technique can be written in its simplest form to deal with individual triangles but will be slow to cast shadows of complex objects, however gains can be made by working out silhou...

Re: triangle to triangle cast shadow

Heya... I don't have a straightforward example handy, but everything you need for casting extruded shadows in opengl is in this demo. It's been a while since I've worked on that, and the code is quite messy... so beware. :p

Re: Relsoft needs help.

I did a bit of research on cancer. Cancer likes an acidic system. Quick major health boost: Be mindful to breathe deeply once in a while. I don't want to sound selfish, but because I'm worried about my own kids, can I please see that research? I really don't feel like digging through pages, but sin...
