@Garvan: Not knowing the history between Plasma and I would definately make this look bad. I don't even know why I even bother with this kind of crap sometimes, honestly...no one gives a damn about observations I make, only chalking them up to "Nek being his usual asshole self". So #%$@ it...

yea, thats sad. are there any other qb/fb mags out there ? There was another one but they haven't done another issue yet and something tells me they're not going to...hell, I don't even remember what it was called. If I can find some time over this week, I'm going to start up FBOA, QBOA's "seq...

Ummm...I never voted for my site or asked anyone else to. As syn9 said, rankings are based on pageviews rather than votes. So quit whining. Wow, you still don't know how to read. Amazing. And the fact that you automatically think I'm talking about your site simply shows that you're the kind of pers...

The last thing you want to do is rely on external libraries for this kind of thing. I think that's one of the largest problems. For Windows, you're best off using the Windows API for GUI development, because it doesn't get any faster, more efficient, or small (code-wise) than that. As soon as you st...

the vote explosion? please elaborate. as far as i know there isnt a voting system... the ranking is based on unique site visits over the last 10 days It's a "vote" when someone clicks the link from the topsite...that's how the ranking in the list is determined. A "vote explosion"...

I wasn't referring to that, v1c...I was referring to the vote explosion on the #1 ranked site.

I am seriously considering starting up an FBOA, but each time I've done this in the past (QBOA), interest wanes, not only from me but from readers/submitters. So I'm not so sure. It sure wouldn't be a "representative" zine for the FB community but it would be *something* regardless. I agre...

I had started on a project such as this (called FBXL) but it was way too much work for any single person to pull off alone. It's something that would require a large team for just to get basic functionality...it's a great idea that could certainly be done but don't try doing it solo or you'll never ...

Settle down v1c hehe :) Agreed though...don't be lazy, you bums! :) It's not hard to do an include line for a library. Furthermore, don't forget that not only is it Angelo who maintains fbgfx, but including the option directly into fbgfx would be impossible in the DOS port, breaking the cross-platfo...

I have mine configured to do that but it still opens them in a new window. It's bad web design to break the continuity of a site like that anyways.

hartnell is funny, but green. I don't think he can handle this kind of site. But I'm having a few good laughs finding out.
