if you have msys (bash) installed, then you can build FB from source by running make.

if you go to the News page you will see the versions of FB available, also you will see versions that are to be placed into existing gcc toolchain.

no problems here, tested with FB versions 1.04, 1.05 and 1.06 both 32 and 64 bit, what version are you using?

I think that an "intelligent" IDE would be preferable than suffixes, imagine and IDE that would highlight variable names with different colours depending on the type, the highlighting would of course be togable.

a bit off topic, I don't know when this started but I simply abhor variable suffixes like %, $ etc, I simply find it incredibly offensive.

on my Mac I have to change "dim as single t1,t2" in line 42 to "dim as double t1,t2" otherwise the times printed is 0.

found a backup of the old Mac HD and using Mini vMac was able to run QB for Mac, somehow it lost it's appeal, nostalgia works better with a bottle of wine. :-)
