I have downloaded and opened FbEdit in windows.
I have typed in the program 'Hello World"
I tried running it and nothing happened.
What do I do now to compile or run or compile and run this program?
I know nothing of command lines or DOS

I downloaded fbedit but could not get it to run.
You mentioned something about entering or changin a "path"
Anyway the file has erased itself.
I ignorant and lost.

I have downloaded freebasic for windows. When I click on the icon I get
what looks like DOS. What do I do next? Where do I enter source code?
I am a very raw beginner and know nothing about DOS.
