Re: Question: EXCEPTION

Hi VANYA! You've addressed the wrong record of the EXCEPTION_RECORD in the myHandler - function. Instead of ... If ExcRecord->ExceptionFlags = EXCEPTION_BREAKPOINT Then ... it has to read ... If ExcRecord->ExceptionCode = EXCEPTION_BREAKPOINT Then ... Regards grindstone

Re: CIRCLE unclear?

Yes, I think now I've got what you intend to do, and I strongly recommend not to do it this way for two reasons: ⋅ It's a tremendous computational effort to repeatedly render the whole graphics screen. ⋅ Every rendering or resizing of a bitmap graphic means in principle a loss of...

Re: CIRCLE unclear?

Hello Tourist Trap! Sorry, I'm not sure what exactly you want to do: Fit the graphics screen to the circles or fit the circles to the graphics screen? And if you want to fit the circles: Do you want to rescale all circles or only those which exceed the limits of the screen? In general, an image is n...

Re: The WORD() function?

Hello datwill310! If you want to generate a list of expressions representing a row of consecutive numbers there's even an easier way to do this: Enum black = 0 blue green aqua red purple yellow white grey light_blue light_green light_aqua light_red light_purple light_yellow bright_white End Enum 'fo...

Re: CIRCLE unclear?

I don't think implementing a feature of an automatically opened graphics window would be a good idea, for several rasons: 1) How should the compiler know which size of the window would be suitable for your purposes? 2) If the size of the window doesn't match your needs you'll have a problem, for the...

Re: Do fb compiler know join multiple parts of a file?

Invaluable tip. I'm pleased that you like it, even so I would not recommend to do it this way, for it's much too inconvenient. It's by far easier to write a "master"-file like ''File JobMaster.bas #Include "SomeJobpart3.bas" #Include "SomeJobpart1.bas" #Include "S...

Re: CIRCLE unclear?

Hello Tourist Trap!

Using the Circle- (or any other graphics-) command in the console is definitely NOT possible, because the console is a pure text - mode window.

Re: Do fb compiler know join multiple parts of a file?

Hello Tourist Trap! It's quite simple. First change your examples to: ''File SomeJobpart1.bas Dim inputVariable as object Declare Sub InputProcedure() '' Sub InputProcedure() ''Get the inputs End Sub ''File SomeJobpart2.bas Dim displayVariable as object Declare Sub DisplayProcedure() '' Sub DisplayP...

I agree with Boris the Old. Using unique names would cause the least problems.

Re: Simplest, multiplatform way to do network communication?

Hi,

maybe try TSNE. It's probably a bit oversized for your purposes, but it will surely match your needs.

Greetings

Re: Using databases mysql/sqllite

The files are surely included in FB 1.02.0. Download it and copy the missing files to your actual FB \inc\mysql\ - folder.
