Re: License Plates

Basically, (no pun intended) to store how often you see an "Out of state" license plate.

When I drive or ride and see a "non-Ohio" plate, I sometimes wonder when the last time that I had seen it.

Next upload will include Central and South America. So am working on it.

License Plates

Way back in the "golden" years, before hand held devices and the such. Parents had to keep their kids entertained on a long road trip. Listening to the radio was usually not effective because parents at that time were not into "popular" music. My parents had us watch for "Ou...

Use GetKey instead.

Code: Select all

Print "I will wait 4 seconds..."
Sleep 4000
Print "Press any key to continue"
GetKey
Print "Hey! My keyboard buffer is empty!"

Re: Emulating a mainframe

Yes, all text mode can be done like what is displayed.

The "grid boxes" are drawn using ascii codes 169 - 218. Using Code Page 437.

Text is printed by:

Code: Select all

Color Green, Black
Print "Current Date: ……"

And the input is:

Code: Select all

Color Black, Green
Input A

Re: Sourceforge vs. GetHub Hosting

Ok. I will look into at least type of license I should use.

As for the copyright, I was referring more toward pursuing a "Copyright infringement" case.

From what caseih said, seems like GitHub would be my best choice.

Re: Sourceforge vs. GetHub Hosting

I am looking for a way to work on a project. And allow others to kibitz. Share the code without having to remember to update the zip file to upload to "MediaFire" (which is how I am currently doing it). From what I understand, GitHub has a more Unix style user base. Using command line. Usi...

Re: Sourceforge vs. GetHub Hosting

If you are used to SVN and want to keep using it then you have to use SourceForge. If you want to use GIT you can use both, but GitHub is probably the more popuplar one for new projects. Not sure what either one is. Have no experience with any service. Do you need any additional features like issue...
