1. I am doing the GUI work all myself (drawing etc)

2. I have been programming in general for 15 years (Normally use Visual Basic but want to get a grip on FreeBasic)

3. I know there are spelling errors the screens are JUST for example.

Hi all,

How do I handle graphics in Freebasic?

Basiclly I want to know say I have a screen with lots if information
being displayed and I then display a Error box how do I restore the
screen information that was below the error box?

I need to get the App.path for my application and it must be so the code can run in Windows, DOS & Linux

I need to know the lcaotion as i load setup information from given folders at start of the application.

I have been reading on the site that Freebasic can access a SQLLite Server.

Is it possible for a FB application to access a SQL Server 2005 Free Edition server?

if so would it be in Windows only or could the DOS version of it access as well?

yes but is there a way I can smooth the font out? so when it is scaled up it is not soo blocky?

Sorry but I just think it looks a little daft blocky when Windows can do a nice smooth font (in vb6)
