Re: Off Topic Form

I did not realize that invites expired so quickly. The one below should not expire:

I also edited the one in my original post, just to save on confusion.

Re: Serial Read Write From PC USB to HP 34401A multi-meter DB-9

Joshy - thanks for interest. I will try and respond later today or tomorrow after trying a different bit format. For some reason I have been blocked from editing so I cannot change this post and will have to enter a new one. ... It looks like you accidentally reported your own post when attempting ...

FreeBASIC interpreter on android

So I found this...

It appears to be a FreeBASIC interpreter for android. With in-app purchases and ads...

The reference section has code that is not FB code, and the Tutorial link just brings you to the FB wiki.

I have no idea how much of FB is actually implemented here.

Re: FB OOP Inheritence

I have found that if the implementation for the constructor and destructor is not in the code, LD will exit with error code 1. It crashes. Would that be an error on the FB side, or in the linker?

Code: Select all

Type Base extends Object 'Needed to enable OOP for this UDT
     int1 as Integer
End Type

Type Extender Extends Base 'Now extend from previous UDT.
   int2  as Integer
End Type

Re: ld.exe: cannot find -lsqlite

The issue is that the linker (ld.exe) can't find the library for sqlite for 64bit. You will need to look for a gcc compatible library file for sqlite that is compiled for 64bit windows.

Re: Brownian motion.

You're not being quite fair here, Luther. If you're personally attacked by someone every f****** time you post something, wouldn't you react in an 'uncivilized' way too? While I understand, I have no power other than edit/remove/approve posts. I read the whole thread, I removed text that started/co...

Re: Brownian motion.

Come on, everyone. Must we do this? I have edited some posts here to remove some of the more directed snipes, but please stop. There should be nothing wrong with differences of opinion or coding style or preference, but please stop antagonizing one another. This is getting a bit more childish than I...

Re: Itemmanager

Very Interesting. Do you have plans to add a file read/write feature for this? It would make things like settings files or save files rather simple to work with.
