I wanted to reply "luckily I can switch off all the computers in my home without any direct consequence. Which is different for my 10 year old car." But that is not true since I have 'smart' (electricity) meter now. And my induction cooker, oven, heating system, door bell and alarm clock for tomorrow will also fail if the computer inside stops. Now, I am going to brush my teeth the old-fashioned manual way...

Those ones, at least, are certainly true!

I like this one. It makes you think, because there are some cases where 1024 chickens would be preferable.

If you have a large yard covered with chicken feed that you needed to clean up, would you rather use 1024 chickens, or two strong oxen?

Rice fields are usually plowed by a flock of ducks.

The thing is rated for 180 kg, even if I stand on my own head and then step on the thing, I won't reach that. But it has some long term stability issues, the numbers do seem to go up slowly over time.

Very strange. My old-fashioned analogue scale has exactly the same issue. Maybe not only the global average temperature is rising, but also the gravity...
