My first language is: "swiss-german"
second language is: "german" (early school days task)

The try to teach me "french" in school was "highly unsuccessful"

trird language is: "english"
fourth language (badly): "afrikaans"

To close this thread: edit (your) first post by prepending: [solved] before the (hopefully slightly modified) title.
(its important for seaching the forum, to have "fitting" titles)

The only time the license of FreeBASIC itself or its runtime library comes into play is if you modify the compiler or the runtime library. Then if you want to redistribute your version of FreeBASIC, you must comply with the terms of the FB license. Most (but not all) compilers are licensed such that the resulting output of the compiler, and the use of the runtime library, is yours to do with as you want, with no restrictions, under your own terms. This is true of FB.
