Is there a git host for BASIC w/ Bash etc?
I've had github for a while and tried gitlab recently. It would be nice to find a git repository site that indexes fbc and BASIC instruction properly. Github has VBA which is closest to BASIC. Is there a git repository site you prefer?
I develop exclusively in QuickBASIC/fbc instruction and some Bash scripting.
Since M$ owns github now, I want to move to another platform anyways! They are the sly ticks in their politics in both social and technological spheres!
Thank you,
Jason

Since gitlab doesn't provide access counters, I use github.pagetelegram wrote:I've had github for a while and tried gitlab recently. In 2015 I'd a discussion about adding freebasic to the linguist pool - no success.
If you find a proper git host, please keep us informed.

I'm also looking for another platform, and I don't want to spend time to improve a M$ project.pagetelegram wrote:Since M$ owns github now, I want to move to another platform anyways!

I am not using any Git provider, but instead Fossil-SCM, is easier to me, and has a free hosting in http://www.chiselapp.com

Re: Is there a git host for BASIC w/ Bash etc?
i found some negative things about GitLab
Is that true ?GitLab's corporate policy is to explicitly allow individuals and organisations that profit from human rights abuses to use their products and services. Avoid if you care about human rights.
Re: Is there a git host for BASIC w/ Bash etc?
It looks that GOGS is better ..but heck it is offline if i understand ...
Gogs is a paradise alternative to the evil GitLab, which is a community of Linux zealots, where there are no Linux users. I can enjoy it without being bothered with Linux Siths and zealots. I do not use GitHub because my account has been banned thanks to the Linux villains. If you are a macOS or Windows user and do not want to be bothered by Linux users, Gogs is the best alternative to shield and you will be safe from Linux users!

Sounds like somebody is trying to pressure GitLab to exclude certain groups of users for political reasons.aurelVZAB wrote:i found some negative things about GitLab
