quitting smoking app
Re: quitting smoking app
Thank you for sharing the app. I am trying to quit right now,and I am trying every method possible.
Re: quitting smoking app
I have been smoking for so long that I don't think an app would help me. I have been smoking for a big part of my life. And to be honest, I haven't been feeling so good lately. This is why I started vaping. At first, I was skeptical, but then I understood that this would do less harm to my body than smoking cigarettes. Also, I started to enjoy the flavors of the vapes. Recently, I discovered the Air Bar Diamond Box flavors list, and now I change the taste of my vape every week. So, overall, I am thrilled with the fact that people quit cigarettes and started vaping. This will do good for society in the long term.

Re: quitting smoking app
The best time to stop smoking is April fool's day, 1 April.
I stopped 1 April 10 years ago because as you get older stopping is a life requirement.
I know others who have stopped on that day.
You very rarely see old people still smoking, a few yes, but these are exceptionally tough people.
You will miss them of course, the ciggies, I still do 10 years on, but it is a necessity to stop.
They say it takes 10-15 years for smoking damaged lungs to repair satisfactorily, it helps if you still have a little bit of youth left. If you leave it too late the natural decline of lung functionality will beat the healing process.
So come on all you jolly girls and guys, you have a few days left to enjoy your remaining puffs, and lay the cigarettes to rest some time on April fools day.
Nice strong coffee helps for a few days after you stop, to combat the initial craving.

Re: quitting smoking app
I am a vaper for 5 years, I wonder where to start to quit it? Please help me!
Re: quitting smoking app
Quitting smoking is definitely tough, and it’s great that you're trying everything you can. For me, vaping helped a lot as a way to gradually reduce my nicotine intake without the harsh effects of smoking. It gave me the satisfaction of the hand-to-mouth action and the nicotine hit, but without the harmful chemicals in cigarettes. I started with a higher nicotine level and slowly reduced it over time. It wasn’t easy, but it helped me cut down on the cravings. I discovered X-Bar a while ago, and it worked well for me, it’s smooth and easy to use, plus the flavors helped make the transition less harsh.

I don't believe in those vapes. You just replace one unhealthy nicotine addiction with another, maybe a bit less unhealthy, nicotine addiction.
What helped me for was Allen Carr's book, a world wide pandemic and hot tea with rum at the end of the day.
I do not miss it now, I replaced it with the more healthy addiction of running and cycling a few times a week.
The nicotine addiction fades relative quickly, but it takes time for your brain to unlink the smoking habit with certain events and situations.

Re: quitting smoking app
I was a regular smoker for over a decade and tried a few different ways to stop. I used vaping for a short period too, but it didn’t work for me in the long run, it still kept the routine alive, and I just ended up spending more money. What eventually helped was stepping away from the daily routine and diving into a structured environment where I could really focus on quitting. It wasn't just about fighting cravings but understanding why I kept going back and learning to cope without relying on nicotine.

I needed something with a more complete approach, so I went to ...... They addressed the mental and physical sides of addiction together, which actually gave me a real shot at staying off it long-term.
