Can someone recommend a text editor for Android?

Post by VictimRLSH »

I've gotten FB to compile and run programs on Android FreeBOX, which is amusing but I'm not really going to use that for dev.

I would like recommendations for an Android text editor though. It doesn't have to be free if there is a commercial one that is better.

Yes, Quickedit appears to do what I want, thanks! I'll have to buy the no-ads, those are getting annoying, especially the ones right after a save.

As for running FB on Android, after installing FreeBOX unzip the DOS archive for FB into /storage/emulated/0/Download/ and then put a copy of cwsdpmi.exe in the FB directory and you're ready. Fre returns about 8mb for program space, and screenlist reports modes available up to 21. I've compiled some of the examples using the internal graphics library and they run just fine.

The Android store is referring to it as aFreeBox, but it's reporting that is the version I currently have installed, so apparently it just underwent a title change.
