I have just read this: https://www.syntaxbomb.com/index.php?msg=347057466
The user claims to have never posted on this forum, and, one week after creating the account, when he wanted to ask a question, he found himself permanently banned, for spamming. What happened?
Potential new user banned as spammer
Re: Potential new user banned as spammer
Just checked the moderator log. The user in question posted March 6th and was indeed banned. I cannot see the content of the message, though, so I can't tell you the basis for the decision.
Bear in mind that we have to manually approve the first three messages from any new member, so it was perhaps a mistake of sorts?
In any case, I unbanned him now. We're sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you, angros47, for bringing up this issue to us.

Thank you both for helping out. I'm relieved. No worries.
I guess I must have posted something. Don't remember now.

Thank you for the warm welcoming. It is encouraging as I write thousands of lines of FreeBasic code goodness.
