Tiko under Ubuntu 24.x ??

I have used FB quite a lot under windows 7 and have just moved to Tiko under windows 10.

I am loath to go to windows 11 so am experimenting with Ubuntu - can Tiko be run under Ubuntu and if so what would the proceedure be ??

I use Linux (Fedora Workstation 42) in addition to Windows 11. Tiko will run in Fedora under Wine. This is not an ideal situation because even though the program runs, it is basically being Windows emulated. The compiler is also the Windows compiler so you won't be building native Linux applications. Everything you write would have to run under Wine.

You are better off using one of the other FB cross platform editors or a dedicated Linux editor like Geany.
